What data we collect

Newsletter: if you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email, the language you chose (Portuguese or English) and the topic you selected (for example, PT-PT dubbing updates or price alerts) in a Supabase database. Subscribing is always optional, and we never sell or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

Language preference: when you choose Portuguese or English, that preference is stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage), on your own device — it is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.

Affiliate link clicks: when you click an affiliate link (for example, PlayStation Store or Amazon), we anonymously log the link's identifier, the page it was clicked on, and the visit's language, with no data that identifies you personally. See the "Affiliates" section below.

Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics

As of this update, Leonida Hub does not use Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics.

If either service is enabled in the future to help us understand which content is read most, this policy will be updated before that happens. Google Analytics uses cookies to identify returning visits; Vercel Analytics, when configured without cookies, measures traffic in an aggregated, anonymous way. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent state of what is actually active.

Advertising (Google AdSense) and cookies

Leonida Hub intends to apply for Google AdSense to display ads as a way to fund the site. As of this update, that approval has not yet been granted, so no Google ads are active.

Once AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads, including based on your browsing history on other sites. We will show a consent notice (CMP) as soon as ads are active, and you can always manage your personalized ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

Affiliates

Some articles (for example, about where to buy or pre-order GTA 6) may include affiliate links — currently the PlayStation Affiliate Program and Amazon Associates (Portugal/Spain). If you buy through those links, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.

Any content with affiliate links is clearly marked with a disclosure notice before the link or comparison table. Our recommendation of where to buy is never influenced by which program pays the highest commission.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion (the "right to be forgotten"), to request its portability, and to object to or restrict its processing.

In practice, this mostly applies to your newsletter email: you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, or ask directly for your record to be deleted by writing to the contact below.
